Shipping policy
At Domus Collective, we are committed to delivering your order as smoothly and transparently as possible. Please read the information below carefully, as it outlines how shipping, delivery and related matters are handled.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within Australia only.
If you have a request for delivery outside Australia, please contact us prior to placing an order at:

We are unable to guarantee availability or pricing for international deliveries unless confirmed in writing.
Shipping Cost
We currently offer free shipping on all orders within Australia, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Please note:
- Free shipping applies to standard delivery only

Additional services (such as assembly, placement inside the residence, rubbish removal or special access requirements) are not included unless explicitly stated
We reserve the right to update shipping offers at any time.
Order Processing Times
Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- Orders are generally processed within 1 to 3 business days after you receive your order confirmation email.
- During peak periods, sales events or public holidays, processing times may be longer.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details (where available).
Shipping & Delivery Timeframes (Australia)
Delivery timeframes vary by product and are dependent on the nature of the item, supplier location and freight requirements.

Depending on the item, delivery may take from 7 days to up to 10 weeks from dispatch
Furniture, bulky items, lighting, made-to-order or custom pieces may require longer delivery times due to manufacturing, handling or freight requirements.
If you are unsure about the delivery timeframe for a specific product, we encourage you to contact us before placing your order.
Multiple-Item & Split Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may be delivered in separate shipments.
This can occur where:
- products are dispatched from different fulfilment or warehouse locations (including overseas warehouses), or
-
items have different lead times
If your order is shipped in multiple parcels:
- each parcel will have its own tracking details (where available), and
- remaining items will follow once ready for dispatch
This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your order.
Shipping Delays
While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery timeframes, delays may occur due to factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- courier or freight carrier delays
- weather events
- port congestion or customs clearance
- supply chain disruptions
- peak periods or high order volumes
Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and not guaranteed. Domus Collective is not liable for delays caused by third parties or circumstances beyond our control.
Tracking
For orders shipped with trackable courier services:
- tracking details will be provided once your order has been dispatched
- tracking information may take 24–72 hours to become active after dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery progress is managed by the courier. We recommend monitoring your tracking information directly via the courier’s website.
Delivery Information & Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details at checkout, including:
- full physical delivery address
- correct contact phone number
We are unable to change delivery details once an order has been dispatched.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address:
- the order cannot be cancelled, and
- additional delivery or re-delivery costs may apply and will be payable by the customer
It is the customer’s responsibility to liaise directly with the courier where delivery arrangements need to be changed after dispatch.
Authority to Leave & Missed Deliveries
Where permitted by the courier, parcels may be left in a safe place at the delivery address if no one is available to receive them.
In some cases, the parcel may be taken to a local depot or post office for collection.
Any additional costs incurred due to:
- failure to collect a parcel within the required timeframe, or
- re-delivery requests
may be passed on to the customer.
We recommend closely monitoring tracking details and arranging collection promptly where required.
Bulky & Furniture Deliveries
Bulky items and furniture are delivered curbside only, meaning:
- delivery is made to the front of the residence or building entrance
- delivery does not include carrying items inside, upstairs or via elevators
- unpacking, assembly and rubbish removal are not included, unless expressly stated on the product page
Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate access for delivery.
Separate Packages
Some items (including lighting and furniture components) may be delivered in separate packages.
If all packages do not arrive at the same time, remaining parcels should follow shortly.
Delivered but Not Received Parcels
Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the courier:
- responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer
If a parcel is marked as delivered but not received, the customer must contact the courier directly in the first instance.
This does not limit or exclude your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, where applicable.
Unpacking & Safety
For safe handling and unpacking of your order, we recommend:
- wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves
- taking care when handling heavy or sharp components
Domus Collective is not responsible for injuries sustained during unpacking or assembly.
Electrical Products
All hardwired electrical products must be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician.
Failure to use a licensed professional may:
- void applicable warranties, and
- pose safety risks
Domus Collective accepts no responsibility for issues arising from improper installation.
No Change-of-Mind Returns
We do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind.
This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including your right to a remedy for faulty, unsafe or misdescribed products.
